Machine readable Pakistani passports

Pakistan will introduce, from September 15, highly-sensitive machine readable passports (MRP), produced by NADRA by harnessing some 5,000 discreet components to authenticate both the automatic finger identification and facial recognition – a new concept in the world – said NADRA’s Chairman Brig (Retd) Saleem Ahmed Moeen.
