Pakistan Drown India in 5th Straight Game, Win Another Golf Title
Pakistan beat India by three strokes to win the team international event of the 44th National Amateur golf championship, registering their fifth consecutive victory against arch rivals in the international meets, here at Lahore Gymkhana course on Saturday.
Pakistan posted a score of 430 after adding 221 to previous days score of 209 to beat Indians in their fifth meeting to maintain their supremacy. India scored 433 receiving 222 on the final day having scored 211 on the opening day.
Pakistan had earlier beaten India in the Kirloskar Trophy a few days ago at the same venue, in the 3rd SAARC Championship at Lahore in August, Karachi International championship in February this year and Asia Pacific championship September last year in Australia…
