National College of Arts Begins Video, Animation Courses
The National College of Arts (NCA) has started new of six-month courses in animation and video production in collaboration with French art institution Ecole-d’ Art.
A German and an American teacher have been hired for the course. TV producer Shaukat Zainul Abidin, writer Asghar Nadeem Syed, former Ptv Lahore general manager SM Anwar and Faryal Gauhar, a goodwill ambassador to the United Nations, are among the faculty members from Pakistan. The college will also get assistance from the Ministry of Information and Technology and Telecom Division to run the courses.
Zafar Iqbal, the academic coordinator for the NCA’s multimedia department, will visit France next month to hold an exhibition of modern and traditional arts like ceramics, miniature and animation.
