IBM’s first recovery centre opens in Pakistan
IBM has set up its Business Continuity and Recovery Services (BCRS) Centre in Pakistan, said a press release of the IBM on Saturday.
This is IBM’s 149th centre worldwide and first in the Egypt, Middle East and Pakistan. IBM held a programme here the other day to formally launch its Business Continuity and Recovery Services (BCRS). The meeting was attended by Aftab Mustafa Khan, Director Accounts, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), who represented Dr Ishrat Hussain, Governor SBP.
In his welcome address, Humayun Bashir, Country General Manager, IBM Pakistan highlighted the risks and threats organisations face in today’s competitive and networked environment.
