Pakistani Bank Set to Open Branch In India

The president of the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), Syed Ali Raza, has confirmed that the bank will open a branch in India.

“The trade volume between the two countries would definitely grow with the opening of our branch in India,” he said Talking to journalists after signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with another state controlled organisation, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA) at the NBP office on Wednesday, Raza said: “We open a branch keeping in mind our business activities.
