Pakistan-India Women’s Colleges Sign Up Peace Exchange Programme

The biggest women’s colleges of India and Pakistan have started a student exchange programme aimed at boosting ties among a new generation after decades of hostility between the two countries. The Lady Sriram College (LSR) in New Delhi and Lahore’s Kinnaird College have joined hands to give students learning journalism and mass communication a chance to visit each other’s country and even write thesis on common issues. A team of three students and one faculty member from LSR travelled to Lahore a couple of weeks ago.
