American Hill Bikers Raise Money for Pakistani Schools

The rally was held to raise money for students in Pakistan. When Col. Joe Sokol, 75th Air Base Wing vice commander, who recently returned from a deployment there, learned about their education problems, he knew who he could turn to get the students the help they needed. “The students were very happy,” he said. “The principals felt very honored. They were somewhat surprised, I think, that we had raised the money and thanked me very much. It was very rewarding. It was a good thing to do because the schools in Pakistan “the kids” they really need it.
