STRINGS to perform LIVE for “HELP,” a Mammoth Telethon-cum-Concert raising funds for the victims of tsunami initiated by the Hindi Film and Television Industry.The event is being held at the MMRDA Grounds, Bandra, Mumbai, on February 6, 2005.
Mega stars Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Priety Zinta, Priyanka Chopra, Shilpa Shetty, Fardeen Khan, Arjun Rampal, Lara Dutta, Sameera Reddy, Shahid Kapur, Zayed Khan, Koena Mitra, Mallika Sherawat and Esha Deol will also perform live to raise funds for the millions affected by this catastrophe.
For the first time ever Pakistani artistes have joined hands with their Indian counterparts and will support this noble cause. Along with Strings, Moammar Rana, Omar Sharif and Meera will also perform at this concert.
The event is designed as a multiple-TV channel simulcast across the world comprising a Telethon-cum-concert wherein stars and celebrities would perform on stage and appeal live for donations.
