May also have to do with a very strange phenomenon I myself experienced – \”the persistence of memory\” of the human body. I chipped my nail with a ball pen that jammed into my finger. It chipped my long nail at the top, and left a tiny blue arc. I trimed the nail completely to get rid of the blemish. It grew, and broke at exactly the same spot. the same tiny arc broke off, and it turned ink blue!
Chopped again, back and broken again. It happen 3-4 times, as I observed with amazement and suriosity. I realized that the nail was doing it with some memory. I couldn\’t find any deposit of ink under my nails, certainly not weeks after the first accident!
Finally, I *willed* the nail to grow normal. The next time, the ink was grayish. Then it vanished.
