Facebook has just added a new feature in it\'s settings and nobody noticed it!
It\'s called My Legacy Contact. In case something happens to you and you are dead, you can choose someone to manage your account and tell people on your behalf that you are no more. They\'ll be able to do things like pin a post on your Timeline, respond to new friend requests, and update your profile picture. They won\'t post as you or see your messages.
At the bottom of the same feature, you have an option to delete your account when you pass away. Go to your account and check it out. You\'ll find it in your security settings. To know more about it check the Facebook FAQs. Your Legacy Contact can contact people and post things using your account but that person can not read your messages. You can only choose to have a single legacy contact. It\'s a good step taken by Facebook . You can choose to have that friend as your legacy contact who is aware of your activities and is very close to you.
